It adds to the decanting function also a diesel pre-filtering. It serves to reduce the traces of water contained in the diesel helping the mechanical parts of the engine interested in the injection circuit to be preserved from possible corrosion attack to the connector for the diesel hose. The filtering section is made by steel mesh Inox 304 and it serves to reduce the impurities bigger than 120 micron allowing the increasing of the duration and the functionality of the diesel filter mounted on board, connection 1/4.
