After successfully passed stringent prototype testing in laboratory, dyno and on the water the OXE300 will become the most powerful unit in the OXE product line, meeting the demand of users who requires high speed and torque capacity for their operations. The twin turbos and the specifically designed gearbox has been developed to withstand the increased
torque and power of the 3.0 L aluminum powerhead, providing peak torque already at 1750 rpm. Primary customers for the OXE300 are Governmental, Transportation, Search and Rescue and other marine applications with high-speed and load demands.
OXE is the worlds first high performance diesel outboard setting new standards for durability, fuel-efficiency and low emissions for an outboard engine. The OXE diesel outboard fulfils the NATO “single-fuel” directive and is an ideal solution for naval, military, oil and gas application. Cimco Marine AB has developed the OXE diesel, a self-contained belt propulsor Unit (S-BPU). The OXE is based on a commercial automotive diesel engine and the unique patented BPU technology which enables high torque transfer to the propeller. The belt drive eliminates bevel gears and vertical shafts allowing for a streamlined housing below the waterline giving less drag.

Diesel fuel
The OXE power head is a modern well proven diesel engine with high pressure direct fuel injection.The common rail turbocharged diesel engine provides high efficiency and torque. This results in powerful thrust and acceleration, with the capacity to carry heavy loads. The engine runs on a large variety of fuels: EN590, ASTM D 975, NATO F76, F75, F54, Marine distillates DMX, DMA, (JP-5, JP-8, Jet A).

Extended range
The reduction in fuel consumption and the hydrodynamically optimised lower housing significantly increases range, allows for extended operational time between refuelling and considerably reduces fuel costs.

Better emissions
The use of highly refined automotive based engine technology provides for industry leading emission levels. The emission levels comply with: TIER 3, IMO, RCD, EPA.

High endurance
The OXE Diesel engine is designed to last. Longer service intervals mean lower maintenance costs and longer operation times. Longer TBO times means life cycle costs are kept at a minimum.

Safety
Diesel is a less flammable fuel and therefore safer to work within hazardous environments. Robust design and crash stop capability leads to safe operation in fierce conditions. The OXE diesel is designed to be safe in any environment.

Low maintenance
Easily accessible service points and a modular design create a user‑friendly environment. The reliable and readily available automotive powerhead keeps costs of maintenance and spare parts low.

The modular design gives the user opportunity to change parts and maintain the outboard, without having to replace the complete unit.
